HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Earlier today, a 37-year-old female was flown to a nearby trauma center after a motor vehicle accident.

At approximately 4:26 p.m. on October 9, first responders were called to the scene on Three Notch Road, in the area of Jones Wharf Road for the reported crash. 

Crews arrived on the scene to find two vehicle which had collided in the middle of the roadway on the northbound side. The female patient previously noted was originally unresponsive in the vehicle, but regained consciousness soon after first responders arrived, but was advised to be in critical condition.

Trooper 7 from the Maryland State Police Aviation responded to the call to make the fly out. The landing zone was established at the Tippett Softball Field, and landed at approximately 4:55 p.m.
