Chesapeake Beach, MD โ€“ย Fire damaged a home in the Summer City subdivision near Chesapeake Beach Thursday evening, March 9, local fire officials reported. According to Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department member Jonathan Riffe, the blaze on Calvert Avenue was initially reported at 10:24 p.m.

โ€œAn aggressive interior attack quickly knocked down all fire within 10 minutes,โ€ Riffe reported. In addition to Dunkirk, personnel from the North Beach, Huntingtown and Prince Frederick volunteer fire departments, along with crews from Anne Arundel County responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. No further information on the cause of the fire was available as this story was being filed.
