Firefighters Respond To Clements House Fire

UPDATE – 9/3/2024 – Clements House Fire Deemed Accidental, Causes $100K In Damages

CLEMENTS, Md. – On September 2, 2024, at approximately 7:15 p.m., fire and rescue personnel responded to a structure fire in the 24000 block of Long Road. 

Upon arrival, crews found a two-story home showing smoke from the front. Firefighters located the fire on the second floor.

The fire was under control within 25 minutes with extensive cleanup. No injuries were reported. SMECO was requested to the scene to secure the power. 

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was notified to investigate the cause.
