LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire Friday morning near a busy intersection in Lexington Park.
On February 27, 2026, at approximately 10:47 a.m., emergency units were dispatched to northbound Three Notch Road just before Expedition Park Drive for a reported vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, crews found the engine compartment of the vehicle involved in flames. The occupant had exited the vehicle prior to firefighters arriving on scene.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
