On July 30 at 9:34 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 11600 block of Jovita Jesse Place in Nanjemoy for the report of an assault.
Investigation revealed the victim and his brother were fighting when the suspect, Delores Angela Debley, 41 of Nanjemoy, struck the victim in the head with a board. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated. Debley was charged with first degree assault. Officer M. Bourgeois investigated.
