WILMINGTON, Nc. – Hurricane Florence has taken the lives of a mother and her baby in North Carolina; the first two reported fatalities of storm, according to police.
Around noon, a tree fell on a house in Wilmington, trapping a family of three inside. First Responders located an injured man inside and transported him to a hospital. Crews continued the search and found the bodies of a woman and an infant.
Hurricane Florence made landfall Friday morning as a category one storm.
