WALDORF, Md. — Get ready, Waldorf — Zaxby’s is officially landing in Maryland! The beloved Southern chain known for its Chicken Fingerz™, wings, Zalads®, and signature Zax Sauce® will open its very first location in the state on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 3068 Waldorf Market Place. Guests can enjoy dine-in and drive-thru service starting opening day.
The 3,600-square-foot location includes 56 seats for dine-in guests and is owned and operated by RMW1 LLC — a franchise group led by Manuel Fierro, William Sanders, and Romanus Anamege. The Waldorf location is expected to create more than 60 new jobs and add some Southern flair to the local dining scene.
Ahead of the grand opening, Zaxby’s hosted a friends and family preview event on Monday, Nov. 10. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for December to celebrate its official welcome into the Waldorf business community.
This marks Zaxby’s first location in Maryland and its third state expansion in 2025, following new restaurants in Las Vegas and Phoenix. The brand is on pace to open its 1,000th location by the end of the year.
