At 2:28 p.m. Oct. 27, Charles County Sheriff’s Cpl. M. Clark and Officer M. Bourgeois observed two men fighting in the 3000 block of St. Charles Parkway in Waldorf.
When the officers attempted to stop them, the men ran. Cpl. Clark observed one of the men reach for his waistband. Cpl. Clark caught the man and arrested him after a brief struggle.
A subsequent search of the accused revealed he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Timothy Gregory Knott, 20, of Waldorf was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner. Officer Bourgeois investigated.
