At approximately 2:50 a.m. on June 14, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad had a report of an auto accident at Route 4 South and Main Street in Prince Frederick.
Rescue crews arrived on the scene to discover an accident involving three vehicles with five patients needing transport. All five patients were transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital, using four ambulances from different stations. Ambulance 49 from Prince Frederick, Ambulance 58 from Dunkirk, Ambulance 68 from Huntingtown and Ambulance 18 from North Beach.
No word on the extent of injuries or what may have caused the crash.
Calvert County Sheriff’s and State Police are handling this investigation. It is believed that arrests will be made regarding this accident.
