LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Community members gathered to enjoy a wide variety of foods from Southern Maryland businesses on Sunday, Sept. 18.

“I hope people came out hungry, because there is a lot of great food to sample. I’ve gotten so many recommendations to try different things, I will have to try them all,” said Paul Junge, the Chamber’s new President and CEO.

Two tents were installed so people would have a shaded place to eat, but people took to sitting in the shade of the trees and building. Local bands performed while community members wandered from vendor to vendor to try new foods and enjoy old favorites.

Participating vendors include: Anita’s Cake Shop, Bear Creek BBQ, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Cameron’s Smoothie Shack, Cocoa’s Authentic Caribbean Jerk, Days Off Deli & Grill, Dunkin’ Donuts, I’se Da Bye Fully Stuffed Kitchen & Catering, Kona Ice, La Rive Breton, Linda’s Café/Earth 2 Table Catering Co., McKay’s Food Stores, Morris Point Restaurant, N&N Oriental Market, Nicolletti’s Pizza, Port of Leonardtown Winery, Smokey Joe’s Restaurant, Stoney’s at Clarkes Landing, The Rex, WJ Dent & Sons/Chief’s Bar.
