
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a man in connection with a recent fatal shooting in Fort Washington. The suspect is 23-year-old Tafari Clauzel of Fort Washington. He’s charged with the murder of 21-year-old Corenlius Wilson of Glenarden.
On May 19, 2025, at approximately 12:20 am, officers responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of Wood Hollow Terrace. Officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified Clauzel as the suspect. The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect and victim were known to each other and were involved in an ongoing dispute.
Clauzel is charged with first-degree murder and related charges. He is in custody in Broward County, Florida, on unrelated charges pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
