UPDATE: Units are reported to be clearing out and returning to service.
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — We are receiving reports of a garage fire in Leonardtown that began in a garage, but began spreading across brush and was at the time threatening damage to the dwelling on the property.
At approximately 4:36 p.m. on March 21, units were dispatched to 20190 Tower Hill Road in Leonardtown. SMECO is reported to be on the scene to disconnect power from the external structure. We do not have a report on any injuries at this time.
