HARWOOD, Md. — A man died and another is in critical condition after a car crossed the yellow line and hit a pickup truck in Harwood, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The crash happened around 12:29 p.m. on Feb. 24 on Muddy Creek Road at Mill Swamp Road. Police said a 2001 Silver Honda Civic, driven by Kristen Sierra Dabolish, 27, of Chester, crossed the yellow line for unknown reasons and hit a 1995 Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Justin Christopher Dabolish, 28, of Brookhaven, GA, who was a passenger in the Honda, died at the scene. Kristen Dabolish was flown to MedStar Hospital in Washington, D.C., in critical but stable condition.

The driver and passenger of the pickup truck, Joaquin Enrique Palacios Matuz, 28, and Sandro Flores Matuz, 37, both of Annapolis, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

The case is being investigated by the Anne Arundel County Police Traffic Safety Section.
