Vincenzo’s Mediterranean Grill, at Calvert Marina in the Solomon’s Island area, is serving lunch at 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. today, Dec. 13, to benefit the American Red Cross Southern Maryland Chapter’s Local Disaster Relief Fund.
The luncheons are sponsored by Toyota of Southern Maryland and Team Hyundai in Lexington Park, Maryland.
Mary Roma, Co-Owner of Vincenzo’s said “Being a new business, we like to support our community. At first, the prospect of serving free lunches sounded beyond our means. But, when Toyota of Southern Maryland and Team Hyundai said they would fund the lunch, we knew we could help the Red Cross prepare for local disasters like house fires.”
This is the first year that Southern Maryland Red Cross has held a luncheon fund raiser in the Solomon’s Island Area.
Tickets are available to the public for $15, which covers a delicious Italian cuisine lunch at Vincenzo’s, door prizes, Bunky the Clown, and festivities. Call 301-934-2066.
The Red Cross also holds luncheons in La Plata at the Outback Steakhouse.
