ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Governorโs Coordinating Offices today announced a record year of serving Marylanders, with several milestones including 1,000 outreach events, facilitating two million volunteer hours with thousands of volunteers mobilized, and helping more than half a million crime victims. The Governorโs Coordinating Offices build, communicate, and implement services, programs, and policy initiatives across the state on behalf of the Hogan administration.
โWith nearly $200 million in grants serving our citizens, the launch of the โText to 911โ service, more than 20,000 small businesses assisted, and being named a โModel Stateโ by the National Governors Association, there is no question that 2018 was a particularly successful year for the coordinating offices,โ said Patrick J. Lally, Senior Executive Director of the Governorโs Coordinating Offices. โWe are proud to connect millions of Marylanders to needed resources statewide and to help lead Governor Hoganโs Customer Service Initiative statewide.โ
Located in Crownsville, Maryland, each coordinating office works to connect people and resources across Maryland on specific issues. In 2018, this consisted of seven unique offices that share services to reduce costs and connect Marylanders with needed resources statewide.
