St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office confirmed that units responded to a โ€˜shooting’ complaint on Liberty Street in Lexington Park on Julyย 8th at approximatelyย 12:00 a.m.. According to sources, the housing complex had hired an off-duty Fairmont Heights Police officer for security detail.

Sources report that the off-duty Prince George’sย County police officer stated that the six suspects had pointed various weapons at him. Weapons ranged from toy, BB and air soft guns. The security officerย pulled his weapon and had all six suspects detained on the ground when Sheriffโ€™s Deputies and State Police arrived on the scene.

The six suspects each had various records ranging from armed robbery to various drug offenses. Suspects detained were Michael Anthony McCoy, 20 of Lexington Park, Pierre Lamont Harris, 24 of Great Mills, Marquise Anthony Robinson, 21 of Great Mills, Matthew J. Milburn, 22 or Hollywood, Norman K. Dickerson, 28 of Bushwood and Jessie George Panagakos, 22 of Lexington Park.

No charges were filed at this time.
