CALIFORNIA, Md. — At 7:28 p.m., it was reported that one person involved with the incident had been flown to a nearby trauma center, and another had been taken to MedStar St. Mary’s.
At 6:31 p.m., reports indicate five ambulances and one helicopter are on scene to assess patients involved with incident.
At 6:20 p.m., it was reported that a helicopter has been dispatched and is en route to the incident.
On Sept. 9 at 6:09 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on Route 4 and Patuxent Boulevard. Reports indicate the collision was head-on. Both lanes are closed to all traffic.
Responding fire and rescue officials have requested a helicopter.
