On May 18 the Exxon-Mobile gas Station at Hermanville Road and Rt. 235 was robbed. Police believe the theft is related to three other similar incidents that occurred in the Lexington Park/California area recently.

St. Mary’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations Detective Daniel Alioto, said the suspect is described as a 5-foot 11-inch black male with a medium complexion.

Police believe this man grabbed cash from a register on May 14 at the Shell gas station on Pegg Road, and committed a similar act on May 22 at the Wawa station on Rt. 235 in Lexington Park. Police did not release the fourth location.

Alioto did not disclose exactly how the culprit seized the cash from the Exxon-Mobile station, but did call it an armed robbery when speaking with The Bay Net.
