Calvert County Cpl. Gary Shrawder conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at St. Leonard Road and Woods Road in St. Leonard on Nov. 14 at 9:07 p.m.
The driver, later identified as Brett A. Snyder, 24 of St. Leonard, was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. A passenger, later identified as Sarah V. Norwood, 26 of Prince Frederick, was also found to be in possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Both Snyder and Norwood were arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, a hypodermic syringe and clear zip bags used to store heroin.
