Unknown suspect(s) burglarized and then set fire to a home on E Street in Chesapeake Beach between June 24 and 25 causing $5,300 in damage.ย  DFC Richard Cress is continuing the investigation.

Parking Lot Heist
A white water buffalo tank and the green trailer it was sitting on were both taken from the parking lot of the Dunkirk Walmart on Town Center Blvd. between June 23 and June 25.ย  The two items total $6000.ย  Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Brianne Gray at 410-535-2800.

Woman Goes Wild in Police Cruiserย 
A disorderly female was arrested outside of the Calvert Pines Community Center at 450 West Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick on June 26 at 10:30 a.m.ย  Dep. Thomas Rickard responded to a call there for a disorderly female.ย  Courtney K. Shreeve, 30, of Lusby, was screaming loudly and kicking and banging on the bus.ย  After being taken into custody by Rickard, she continued her conduct and kicked the interior of the police vehicle causing $300 in damage.ย  She was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

GPS Devices Lost
Dep. David Canning responded to Boaters World on H.G. Trueman Road in Solomons on June 26 for a theft report.ย  An employee advised that two global positioning system plotters, both Garmin 440sโ€™s valued at almost $700 each, were missing.ย  It is unknown when the theft occurred.ย  Dep. Canning is investigating.

Prankster Slapped With Charges
Dep. Thomas Tilley responded to a home on First Street in North Beach on June 30 at 1:32 a.m. in response to a call for destruction of property.ย  Upon arrival Dep. Tilley observed the suspect, later identified as Jason L. Wood, 28 of North Beach, standing near a vehicle that had damage to the windshield wipers.ย  While trying to question him, Wood became disorderly.ย  Two victims reported that their vehicles had been damaged by Wood.ย  He was arrested and charged with destruction of property, disorderly conduct and failure to obey.

Packing A Mean Weapon
Dep. John Bonville responded to a home on Dancer Court in Lusby on July 1 at 2:36 a.m. in reference to a loud party.ย  While investigating the complaint, he heard a noise and observed a suspect near a vehicle acting suspiciously.ย  After some questioning and investigation, Dep. Bonville determined that the suspect, later identified as Barry L. Hunnicutt, 21 of Lusby, damaged the vehicle and was in possession of a deadly weapon.ย  He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, destruction of property and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Drive-by Paintballing
A victim on Pine Blvd. in Lusby advised Dep. James Bell that at approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 3 she heard three loud thumps at her front door and heard a car driving by.ย  She then observed three pink paint splatters on the front of her home.ย  While canvassing the neighborhood Dep. Bell noticed a paint mark on another home and on the White Sands welcome sign.ย  All the paint was cleaned off and no permanent damage was done.ย  Dep. Bell will continue the investigation.

Pot Arrest
Dep. Thomas Rickard conducted at traffic stop on July 2 at 7:24 a.m. in the Chapline Shopping Center in Prince Frederick.ย  The driver, David C.
