On March 14 at 9:21 p.m., officers responded to the 10000 block of Housley Court in Waldorf for the report of an armed male threatening to commit suicide.
Officers attempted to make contact with the man but he refused to communicate.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Team and hostage negotiators responded and subsequently apprehended the man inside his house. Officers found a semi-automatic handgun in his possession.
