BUSHWOOD, Md. — Firefighters contained a house fire Friday night in Bushwood after flames spread into the attic of a single-story home, according to emergency dispatch reports.
The incident was reported around 9:38 p.m. on May 1, 2026, at a residence on Lagoon Drive.
Initial reports indicated flames showing from the roof and a vehicle in the yard. Crews arriving on scene confirmed fire in the attic and declared a working fire.
Multiple units responded and worked to bring the blaze under control.
All occupants were able to escape the home without injury.
