Hughesville Little League age 9 and 10 All-Stars won the Maryland District 7 Championship over Waldorf 14-2 in 5 innings. Hughesville jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after the first inning and played strong the rest of the game.
Hughesville went 6-0 during the tournament and outscored their opponents 89 – 11. The team of talented youngsters now moves on to the State tournament in Boonsboro starting July 17.
