SOLOMONS, Md. – Celebrate local shopping and community spirit during Pink Friday at the Calvert Marine Museum Store! This annual event invites visitors to enjoy a festive evening of unique finds, special guests, and holiday cheer—all while supporting the museum’s mission.
From noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, the Museum Store will feature a wide selection of coastal-inspired gifts, jewelry, books, toys, and décor—perfect for everyone on your holiday list. Every purchase helps fund the museum’s exhibits, programs, and educational outreach.
We’re thrilled to welcome two special guests joining us from 5 to7 p.m.:
- Carol Booker, local author of Waterman’s Widow and other captivating titles, will be signing books in-store.
- Kindled Coast, featuring beautiful, handmade coastal creations.
While you’re here, join in the fun of the Pink Friday Passport Adventure! Start by picking up your free Pink Friday tote and passport at any of the participating Solomons businesses, including the Museum Store. As you explore each shop, you’ll enjoy special offers, refreshments, door prizes, and photo-worthy moments. Once your passport has been stamped by all 12 businesses, drop it in the big balloon gift box outside Simply Social Event Company for a chance to win a fabulous gift basket filled with goodies from all participating shops.
