On Wednesday, July 28 around 5:30 p.m., St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s responded to report of a burglary in the area of Prather Drive in Lexington Park.
Witnesses on the scene reported a juvenile male break in to a neighbor’s trailer and reportedly steal some sort of gun and then fled on foot to the area of Sell Drive.
Investigation revealed a 13-year-old juvenile broke into the home and stole a BB gun and some ammunition for a shotgun and fled to a nearby wooded area where he hid the gun and ammo.
The juvenile was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
