Maryland State Fire Marshall’s have charged a 17-year-old male for setting fire to a bag of unknown contents in the hallway of Lackey High School.
The incident and subsequent arrest occurred on Friday afternoon March 19.
The juvenile was released to the custody of his parents and the case will be referred to juvenile justice authorities. The boy is charged with First-Degree Arson, Second-Degree Malicious Burning and Destruction of Property.
Damage to the school consisted of approximately $25 for damaged floor tiles.
