Charles County Commissioner President Candice Quinn Kelly issued the following statement on comments made by Commissioner Debra Davis at the commissioner’s meeting, Tuesday, April 28: “There were comments made in today’s Maryland Independent [and The Bay Net April 29] regarding the need for an audit of the Sheriff’s Office.
“NOTE: The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is AUDITED along with Charles County Government.
