LA PLATA, Md. – A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in La Plata.
The incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. on April 22, 2025, in the 100 block of Drury Drive, prompting a response from officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.
According to the police, the driver of the vehicle may have experienced a medical emergency at the time of the crash and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The La Plata Police Department Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
