On Aug. 16, just after 3 a.m., TFC J. Edelen was traveling northbound on Hamilton Road, when he stopped Roy Daniel Browning, 23 of Waldorf, for a traffic violation.
When speaking with Browning, TFC Edelen observed marijuana residue on his shirt. A probable cause search revealed a plastic baggie containing marijuana. Browning was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
