Leonardtown High School JV basketball defeated Chopticon High School on Friday night at home by a score of 54-34.
Much like the varsity match-up that followed, Leonardtown gained the lead over Chopticon and never let it go. Even the score was nearly identical. The varsity team won 54-39.
On Wednesday, Leonardtown travels to Pomfret to play the McDonough High School Rams.
Chopticon travels to Waldorf on Wednesday to face the Thomas Stone Cougars.
Chopticon and Leonardtown will have a rematch on Feb. 15.
