The Leonardtown Rotary Club is once again accepting grant applications from St. Mary’s non profit programs and public services agencies. The deadline for this award period is March 5, 2010 and awards will be announced in May.
A key element of “service above self” as practiced by the Leonardtown Rotary Club is providing grant funds to local agencies and programs that provide humanitarian services to the citizens of St. Mary’s County. Application for and awards made are competitive. Grants typically range from $250 to $500 depending on the need expressed in the application.
To be eligible for the 2010 award, applications must be received by March 5, 2010. Applications have been sent to organizations which have requested or been awarded grants in the past and are also available on the Rotary website – http://www.leonardtownrotary.org or a group can request an application by writing to: Leonardtown Rotary Club, Attn: Phil Rollins, Community Service Director, P.O.
