Lexington Park Man Charged After Cleaning Service Alleges Exposure And Masturbation

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A 49-year-old Lexington Park man faces three counts of indecent exposure following allegations involving cleaning service workers inside a residential home in Lexington Park. Court proceedings are scheduled for April 2026 after authorities issued a summons in connection with the February incident.

Charging documents state Matthew John Julian, 49, of Lexington Park, has been charged with three counts of indecent exposure in connection with an incident reported Feb. 16, 2026.

According to court records, a cleaning service arrived at Julian’s residence to perform work that had been arranged and paid for. While inside the home, three individuals employed with the service reported that Julian was wearing a robe and allegedly exposed himself. The victims stated that he then engaged in masturbation while observing them clean the residence, according to charging documents.

In police documents, the victims reported that they continued their work and did not immediately alert Julian or leave due to concerns about firearms they believed were present in the home.

Law enforcement later spoke with Julian regarding the allegations. According to authorities, he acknowledged that cleaning services were at his residence and confirmed that he was wearing only a robe with nothing underneath. When questioned further, investigators reported that Julian declined to provide additional statements.

A summons in the case was issued Feb. 17, 2026. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 3, 2026.

Under Maryland law, indecent exposure is generally classified as a misdemeanor offense. Upon conviction, each count may carry a maximum penalty of up to three years of imprisonment and/or applicable fines, subject to sentencing by the court.
