Lexington Park, MD – A woman has died after being injured in a pedestrian/motorcycle accident in Lexington Park.
Around 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Connie Sell, 50, of Lexington Park attempted to cross MD Route 246 at Midway Drive, when she was struck by a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Joshua Moyer, 35, of King George, VA.
Moyer was traveling eastbound on MD Route 246, in the area of Midway Drive.
Ms. Sell was flown by MSP helicopter Trooper 2 to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Moyer was transported by the Lexington Park Rescue Squad to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
