The Concerned Black Men of Calvert County, Inc (CBMCC) will host a spring concert featuring two-time Grammyยฎ award winner Ann Nesby, Spur of the Moment Band, and other national recording artists on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 7:00 PM at the Mary Harrison Cultural Arts Center, 2950 Chaneyville Rd, Owings, Maryland.

CBMCC President Gregory Slappy says the event will provide an enjoyable means for area non-profit organizations to raise money. ย โ€œOther organizations in Southern Maryland and the metropolitan area are invited to partner with Concerned Black Men of Calvert County, Inc to host this event. ย This will be a great opportunity for fundraising through ticket sales and sponsorships for us and our partnering organizations,โ€ said Slappy.

Local organizations have been given the opportunity to sell blocks of tickets to their membership and keep a percentage of the profits for fundraising efforts. ย All non-profits including Greek sororities and fraternities and other grass roots organizations are encouraged to participate.
