Update:
Charles County Sheriff’s detectives say Gladys Louk, 86, of Jessup has been located. Louk was reported missing on Nov. 24 after she left a house in Waldorf and never arrived at her residence in Jessup. A Silver Alert (similar to an Amber Alert) was issued and her vehicle was entered into a national data base. Ms. Louk was found by a citizen early this morning in Olney, Montgomery County, Maryland; she said she was lost. Ms. Louk has since been reunited with her family.

The Maryland State Police at the request of the Charles County Sheriff’s Department has activated a Silver Alert for a missing 86 year old white female. Gladys Loraine Louk, DOB 05 Jan 1928, 5 feet 1 inch tall weighing 135 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing peach colored sweatpants, a white Christmas sweater, Maroon jacket and beige shoes. Her vehicle is described a s being a 2013 gray Dodge Dart with MD license 44739HV. She was last seen Sunday 24 Nov 13 near the 1600 block of White Kipling Drive in the Waldorf area of the county. If located please contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Department at 301-932- 2222
