Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle on March 28 at 3:35 p.m. on Tour 4 and Parran Road. in Lusby for traffic violations.
A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle.
A search revealed no contraband. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle and as he did, two clear baggies fell out of his pant leg. Alonzo T. Chew, 33 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Crack Cocaine and Marijuana.
He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
