Lusby Man Found with Cocaine at Traffic Stop

On December 29, at 12:48 a.m., TFC E. M. Evans initiated a traffic stop on Three Notch Road at Miramar Way in California on a white Pontiac Montana. 

Upon contact with the driver, Clarnzett Phoentez Weems, 28 of Lusby, a glass CDS smoking device containing Cocaine was observed in plain view as he opened the driver’s side door.  Weems was placed under arrest for Possession of Cocaine and CDS Paraphernalia.  He was also found to be in possession of a metal spoon containing Cocaine. 

Weems was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
