On April 14 at 8 a.m., officers responded to the 8900 block of Brooks Drive in Waldorf for the report of a theft.
Upon arrival, officers were advised by the victim that the suspect – a relative of the complainant – stole tools including a drill, drill stand and drill bits. Officers developed information that led them to the Ft. Washington area. As they investigated, officers observed members of the PGPD detaining the suspect near a wooded area in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway.
The suspect, Bret Villalon, 21 of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with theft over $500. The stolen tools were recovered.
