St. Mary’s County Deputy John Davis responded to a residence on Point Lookout Road on December 29th for a disturbance.
The victim alleged suspect Lawrence Taylor Jr., 49, of Morganza, approached the victim with a machete during an argument. Taylor also pushed a second victim inside the residence as the second victim attempted to intervene.
Taylor was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2 COUNTS of 1st Degree Assault.
