WALDORF, Md. – On February 13, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Leonardtown Road in the area of Forest Park Drive.
Upon arrival, crews located two vehicles involved with one vehicle leaking fuel and smoking. EMS evaluated multiple patients on the scene, and MEDEVAC was requested for a 31-year-old male due to injuries.
Firefighters established a landing zone nearby for Maryland State Police, Trooper 2. Shortly later, the patient was airlifted to MedStar Trauma Center for treatment. Additional occupants signed care refusals on the scene.
