On June 13, Stanley Ignatius Armstrong, Jr., 40 of Lexington Park, was in a verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical assault when Armstrong grabbed the victim by the wrists and pushed her onto a couch. When the victim’s roommate attempted to call for help, Armstrong grabbed the phone from and scratched the roommate.
Armstrong was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault.
