At 2:07 p.m. Wednesday, a 41-year-old man was struck by a car while crossing Great Mills Road in Lexington Park.
The man was thrown about 60 feet in the crash, and was later flown from the scene by Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 7.
The man was not crossing at a crosswalk on Great Mills Road. The driver was not charged.
