On April 1, Corporal D. Corcoran was patrolling the intersection of North Essex Drive and Saratoga Drive in Lexington Park, when he observed Mark Jerome Mason, 47 of Leonardtown, driving a van.
Cpl. Corcoran knew Mason’s driver’s license was suspended and there was an active protective order between Mason and the woman who was riding along in the van as Mason’s passenger. Cpl. Corcoran verified Mason’s driver’s license was suspended and the protective order was still in effect. Mason was stopped. The passenger was identified as the petitioner of the protective order.
Mason was arrested for violating the protective order.
