On March 4, Corporal Reppel responded to a residence on Altman Court in Lexington Park, for a reported assault.
The victim alleged suspect Maurice Isaiah Thompson, age 29, of Lexington Park, grabbed the victim by the throat and attempted to strangle the victim. When the victim tried to get free, Thompson struck the victim in the face.
Thompson was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
