Just before midnight on July 12, Charles County Sheriff’s officers, working a detail, approached a man in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Crain Highway after observing the man smoking marijuana.
The suspect fled but was apprehended a short distance away. Officers recovered a bag of marijuana and charged Keith Darcel Goines, 28 of Ft. Washington, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
