Kendall, a nurse tech, showed outstanding patient advocacy and clinical intuition. When a patient who’d been at the hospital for an extended period asked for assistance moving to a chair, Kendall identified a serious concern and quickly escalated it. Thanks to her quick thinking and collaboration with her team, this patient received safe, responsive care.
Chris and Sherice, from nutrition services, teamed up during a busy lunch rush and caught a potential safety issue before it became a problem. Their quick action prevented possible cross-contamination, keeping patients safe and upholding our values with pride.
