GAITHERSBURG, Md. — A 13-year-old Kentucky girl reported missing for more than two months has been found safe in Montgomery County, and a Silver Spring man is now in custody awaiting extradition.

Authorities said Wynter Wagoner, of Rockcastle County, Kentucky, was located Friday evening, Dec. 26, inside a home in the 12000 block of Dalewood Drive in Silver Spring. She had last been seen on Oct. 14, 2025.

Montgomery County police officers from the department’s 4th District responded around 5:52 p.m. Friday after receiving information that the missing teen might be in the area. Working alongside the U.S. Marshals Service, officers found Wagoner inside the residence along with 37-year-old Christian Alexander Delgado.

Delgado was taken into custody without incident. Wagoner was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution for medical evaluation, police said.

The Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky obtained an arrest warrant charging Delgado with kidnapping. He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit on a fugitive from justice warrant and is awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

Court records show Delgado is being held without bond following hearings in Montgomery County District Court and is scheduled for trial proceedings later in January.
