Mechanicsville, MD – At 1:50 p.m. the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and other sources reported a motor vehicle crash on Route 5 at Thompson’s Corner Road. The southbound lane is shut down. Motorists should use caution when approaching the area of the crash.
There are reports one injured motorist is being transported to an area hospital.
