
HUGHESVILLE, Md. – In the early hours of July 27, 2024, emergency responders were dispatched to a severe motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Burnt Store Road near Boone Place in Hughesville.
According to authorities, at approximately 12:44 a.m., the motorcyclist, a 32-year-old male, collided with a deer while traveling at approximately 60 mph. The impact left the rider with traumatic injuries.
EMS arrived at the scene to provide an initial evaluation and requested a MEDEVAC. Firefighters established a nearby landing zone for Maryland State Police Trooper 2.
The injured motorcyclist was subsequently airlifted to UM Capital Region Medical Center for further treatment.

Everyone take note. This motorcycle was driving at a speed lower than many 4 wheelers. Hope he will be ok.
