
WHITE PLAINS, Md. — A man was critically injured Tuesday night, July 8, 2025, in a motorcycle crash in White Plains, prompting a large emergency response and advanced life support measures.
The crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the 10500 block of Middleport Lane. Emergency dispatchers received a 911 call reporting that a motorcycle was on top of the rider and the person was not breathing.
Initial reports indicated the motorcyclist, described as a man in his 40s, was face down and unresponsive following a collision with a car.
Upon arrival, crews quickly stabilized the rider once on scene.
The patient was placed on a backboard with a cervical collar and transported by ambulance to the UM Capital Region Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. ALS personnel confirmed the man required immediate advanced trauma care.
The crash remains under investigation.
